When business disputes arise, do you have a strategy?

In order to run a successful business, Miami business owners need to know how to deal with a variety of internal and external sources. This can be easier said than done, as disputes can quickly arise and escalate between different stakeholders.

On the internal side, the principals, officers and employees of a company need to work well together to accomplish the common goals of the business. However, problems can arise with these employees, leading to termination of the employment and resulting disputes between the employer and employee over what caused that termination. Last week, for example, this blog discussed a dispute over hundreds of thousands of dollars between a Florida employer and its former employee regarding a contract dispute. In other cases, the business may need to go after the employee after a confidentiality agreement dispute, if the employee disclosed sensitive information to other parties.

On the external side, the business needs to deal with suppliers, wholesalers, retailers or other businesses, as well as the ultimate customer of the product or service they provide. But contract disputes or other problems can arise when one party to the agreement does not perform as anticipated.
